Imo community boils as military revenge killing of colleagues

 

Orlu Local Government area of Imo State is currently in turmoil as military men allegedly went on rampage, killing several civilians in revenge for their dead colleagues.

20-year-old girl locked up in abandoned house for five years rescued in Osun [photos]

The Osun State Government with the Nigerian Police have rescued a 20-year-old girl, Opeyemi Olatoke locked up for five years in an abandoned house at Alfa Fire area, Ikirun in Ifelodun Local Government Area, Osun State.

The father of the girl identified as Samson Olatoke who was alleged to have locked up her daughter and her brother were also arrested by the police.

South-West Governors meet, ban open grazing

Governors of the South-West on Monday banned all forms of open grazing in the region.

The decision was taken today when the governors met with the leadership of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria as well as security chiefs.

Ondo woman arrested for selling baby to Pastor for N10,000

 

Officers of Ondo Security Network, popularly known as Amotekun have arrested a woman, Seun Oladayo, for allegedly selling her newborn baby for N10,000.

The 22-year-old sold the baby shortly after giving birth to a Pastor, identified as Olawale who reported the incident to Amotekun officers.

Mexican president tests positive for COVID-19


Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador announced on Sunday on Twitter that he had tested positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Obrador added that his symptoms were light and that he was receiving medical treatment.
