Italy: Nearly 100,000 Ukrainian refugees have arrived so far

More than 97,000 refugees from Ukraine have arrived in Italy thus far. Most of them are women and children, given that Ukrainian men up to the age of 60 are required to stay in their home country.

Among the Ukrainian refugees arriving in Belgium are 600 unaccompanied minors. In order to register them administratively they need to be assigned legal guardians, according to Belgian law. 

Italian organizations send aid to Poland to help Ukranians

The Milan Fair Foundation and the Arca Project Foundation have collected over 100 tons of essential goods for Ukrainian refugees. Trucks departed for Poland earlier this week.

Greece: 64 asylum seekers rescued from Evros

Greek police have reportedly rescued a group of asylum seekers, among them 10 children from a tiny island in the Evros river. This comes days after a woman was shot dead at the river separating Turkey from Greece.
